USS Deliverance communication issues

After entering the Bravo system and waking the crew from cryosleep USS Deliverance has been suffering some strange issues with the communication systems. The techies are all over it doing their best to sort it out. But some talk in the corridors from com-techs who have been going through logs manually indicate that the strange readings from the systems may not be all wrong. Maybe some things actually did change from the expected communication patterns and frequencies in this system and some previously open channels are now encrypted or even actively jammed?

On the other hand the ship did go through a long journey here and it is not unheard of for some components to fail under such conditions and result in strange readings.
